Is Motorola mobiles is still on anybody's wishlist? Its splitting now......

Motorola, one of the dominant names in mobile handsets throughout much of the 1990s and 2000s. However, as technologies evolved and financial markets crashed, much of Motorola's fortunes were erased. With the split over the choice of cell phones, there is also much split in between the investors betting on Motorola company. Now even the company is about to split into two,Motorola Mobility and Motorola Solutions. Motorola Mobility, focused on its consumer business, and Motorola Solutions, its professional business. Motorola Mobility will focus on its cell phones and cable set-top boxes businesses, and Motorola Solutions will sell its police radios, barcode scanners and related technologies. The third division of Motorola, which produces network equipment for cell phone companies, won't be included in the split, and will be sold to Nokia-Siemens Networks, a Finnish-German joint venture.
For now the two companies are relatively safe for investment, though Solutions is much safer bet. .The company's Android handsets have helped it stay relevant in the smartphone marketplace. Buy MOT $4
