Infosys will acquire US based automation technology company Panaya for $200m.
Panaya is US based automation technology company with strong cloud based service.
This is the first acquisition by Infosys since former SAP board member Vishal Sikka took over as the CEO and MD of the over $8 billion firm in August last year. As per Sikka, the acquisition of Panaya is a key step in renewing and differentiating Infosys's service lines.
Some of the Panaya's customers include Mercedenz-Benz, Coca-Cola, AstraZeneca, Renault and Volvo.
