Better Business Bureau warns of secret shopper scam

The Better Business Bureau is warning about a secret shopper scam in central and southside Virginia.

A newspaper ad running in Danville and Lynchburg says a company called Temp 1 Employment is filling customer service positions.

Consumers who respond are told they will be secret shoppers. They are then asked to deposit a check from the company and wire the money to a company representative.

The BBB says these are not real job offers, but they are a scheme to get money. The BBB says consumers should use extreme caution.

BBBOnLine is the Better Business Bureau program to identify trustworthy web sites in the US and CA. people are extremely dissatisfied with the company. There are so many negative reports abot the company. I learned about this on this great site www.pissedconsumer.com. There are also many consumer feedbacks about the company there. And they are far from being positive.
