CUSTOMERS receive an unbeatable service from the welcoming team at Congleton Information Centre. The foursome led by Rachel Brown have scored their latest triumph after being finalists in the North West Tourism Awards.The centre is at Congleton Town Hall, and has been rated the top tourist information centre in the North West.
The accolade comes from VisitBritain, which carried out mystery shopper calls and visits to 223 TICs across the country.As well as coming top in the region Rachel and her team achieved an excellent ninth place nationally."To rate top in the North West and ninth in the country overall is a wonderful result," said borough tourism development officer Phillippa Brown
