Mystery-shopping group bringing HQ, 75 jobs to Raleigh

A national mystery-shopping organization is moving its headquarters to Raleigh in a move that will bring 75 jobs to the Capital City.

The Consumer Research Group picked Raleigh for its new home after careful deliberation, said company President Don Bode in a written release that cited the Triangle's strong economy, location and quality of life as reasons for the company's move from Alpharetta, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta.

will begin forming a team of up to 75 office and field support personnel," Bode said in the release.

It was not immediately clear how many employees would move with CRG to Raleigh. CRG officials did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.

CRG supplies mystery shoppers who test customer service at a variety of shops, restaurants and hotels around the country. Working incognito, they provide reports that CRG delivers to the senior management of these retail establishments.
