sectors which will continue to show growth are infrastructure-led or domestic consumption-led sectors. With a good amount of re-allocation of portfolios towards these growth sectors, from a broad market perspective, a very deep correction doesn’t seem likely.
Sandeepa Arora of India Infoline pegs the next market move on the fresh batch of IPOs coming in. She says, “You are going to see big IPOs coming in. So you will see some liquidity being sucked out of the market. We will have to see how the two big issues pan out. Until then, we will see some consolidation kicking in.” She recommends capital goods and engineering spaces as sectors to hold on to. She is positive on Birla Jute and Kesoram in the cement space.
